So since just about everyone seems to be writing about that lovely, lovable, loving day that is just right around the corner I figured I should probably throw in my two cents.
*WARNING - DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER IF VALENTINE'S DAY IS SACRED TO YOU.
I am not a huge fan of Valentine's day.
(Insert Gasp)
I know, I know it is crazyiness! I just don't see the big deal. Not that I don't enjoy giving and receiving gifts but I would much rather receive a gift on just some ordinary day rather then have that special someone (giggle giggle) try to conform to a pre-existing mold that every other man is also trying to do on V-Day. However, I have a very nice weekend planned out for my guy and myself but not because Cupid will be looming over us but because it is suppose to be beautiful out and we haven't seen each other in a month!! YIKES :)
* On a side note I do realize the importance of V-day for married people. In marriage it seems as though sometimes the "love"aspect of the relationship is put on the back burner and people need to be reminded every once in awhile to appreciate one another. AKA - Men need to be reminded that their wives are pretty much goddesses and should be treated like queens more often :-)
I found this while perusing through random sites this morning and thought it was worth sharing with all you good folks. It is pretty funny and pretttty much right on target.

Also I have been meaning to post about how much I have been loving Masterpiece Theatre. I just finished watching Sense and Sensibility and was glued to it the whole time. I also watched Tess of the D'ubervilles which was just as good. It is really a wonderful channel and the movies they develop are so rich in character that you forget you are watching remakes of already classic movies/stories. Perfect entertainment for a lazy afternoon.
